I have 55 gallons and probably only need 1 but I'll add 2. Small things have power! I gave the other 2 to my brother for his 55 gallons of salt water. Wow.Update: They don't work properly and randomly suck up water! I've had them for a few months and just walked by my tank and found that my humu trigger is semi-primed in the front. I rushed to pull it out only to find the fan spinning backwards! Luckily he just had a mouth ulcer. Turning off and on again seemed to cause the burnout again, but now I can't trust these fans!
