No gel, very runny and too runny

I have bought this brand before in the 2 ounce size. I've been using this product for years. It was more of a gel. This 4 ounce size is so runny I can't get it in my dog's mouth before it spreads all over my arm. Are you trying to think of a way to make it thicker? Any ideas? I can just return it and look for something else.
