I bought this mattress topper about 6 months ago and after an incident this morning with our new pup I felt I NEEDED to go back and write this review. I originally bought this because I'm very allergic to house dust and bed mites, so I wanted to make sure our new mattress was safe for my sleep. After the first week of protecting my mattress, I immediately felt the difference. It kept my new mattress clean and protected from allergens, and I noticed this once my allergy symptoms subsided. It also claims to be liquid tight, which is a fact! Our new pup was too excited this morning and left a HUGE piss puddle right on the bed and when I took the sheets off I was scared he might get through the blanket onto the mattress and as soon as I slid that blanket onto my Surprise, my mattress was PERFECT! I highly recommend this cover to protect your mattress and accompanying pillowcases. So thankful I bought this!
