I have a latex mattress that I want to protect. Some cats who occasionally pee on the bed have been forced to be waterproof but breathable. EDIT: I finally had a chance to see if it really is waterproof and it is. I also wanted to update this review as I also had the chance to wash it as some reviews said it was ruined after washing. Washing didn't spoil or damage it. The only issue I had was that it was told to tumble dry it on low/air. I did and it sat in the dryer for almost an hour without drying (in the new dryer).
