I didn't have a long belt so I won't talk about durability. But the quality of the belt is very good. Nice leather with ratchet system. This seller/manufacturer has a particularly smooth-running, low-noise ratchet system. So it was a pleasant surprise. All my other ratchet straps are a bit noisy. The lion buckle (round) is very well designed. It's not too noticeable, but very distinguishable. However, the dark area of the front of the buckle (not lion, not metal) has a shinier plastic (more plastic than the "lacquer" style) than I thought or would have liked. The image of the subject is still fairly accurate, so I won't be photographing anything for it. The belt fits exactly as stated. I love it. This is currently my favorite belt.
