I put them on and they were so dirty, but I decided to give them a ride and see if I could get used to them. The heat from my pipe melted it through in less than 3 minutes. My blue jeans are fine but the material started to smoke and melted down to the red lining. So now I have an $80 pair of leather pants (not actually leather) with a huge hole in the inside of the right leg. I took them off and continued the trip in only blue jeans and everything was fine. But there was a bubble from the fact that the guys were overheating and choking. Very disappointed. Don't buy if you have a big bike with hot pipes.
