Raw wood shelves have a number of design and cosmetic flaws, difficult frustrating assembly, not a quality product. The shelves do have a nice lacquered finish to prevent warping with heat or moisture. Initial assembly of the shelves and frame for me was an hour and was a frustrating nightmare.1. No instructions are included on how to put this together and is very unclear as you only get one page printed with a photo of the completed unit with no info, looks like they should have printed instructions to reverse but left it off and did not print the assembly info. I went to the online sell page and looked at the assembly video which is incredibly deceptive and shows an easy, fast aligned screws moving into the drilled holes with no effort in seconds and how to align the shelves in a two tier position, good luck! I could not get the second holding bar in as I was not able to unscrew the second screw out once in.2. Even after assembly the bottom and top frame do not align properly, the frame should have been made as one piece to avoid all the listed problems. The frame has sloppy and poor soldering that was just painted over with many paint chips with raw metal and rust, not good. This is the third time this has happened to me with poorly designed shelves that a multi-piece frame which is cheaper to manufacture, not acceptable.3. The attachment holes have NOT been drilled properly and are too small and not long enough for the large screws that came with the unit, or they sent the wrong screws which are too large. It was a frustrating nightmare to install by hand, the torque wrench is not magnetic and would constantly slip when installing the screws. I wish these items were made in America with good quality production methods as many of the parts should have been inspected and drilled properly or the correct smaller size screws were included instead of left overs in stock that will not fit the smaller drill holes as well as the metal frame which should have been buffed to remove the excess solder, then properly painted.If some of these sellers had just a little brain power they would put their best product up for review not their worst. This item is obviously factory discards that should have been returned but instead they are listing the item online to get rid of faulty shelves, hastily thrown together overpriced $35.00 junk heap to be sold online is not recommended.
