This circuit board replaced the obsolete York 031-01234-000 on the P2MPD14N08001C gas oven. The old board had a sticky relay that kept the ignition on by constantly pressing the right drawout switch. The swap was easy, basically find the settings for your board in the manual which includes setting up the recommended DIP switch settings and selecting the appropriate patch cords that come with the board. The box says this universal board replaces 195 different controllers, which is pretty impressive. After that I installed the board and moved the wires from the old board to the new one one by one to make sure everything was correct. I took a photo of the old circuit board fully connected to my smartphone before I unplugged the cables, just in case (what did we do before smartphones?). The wires were mostly labeled the same on the new board, the only ones that weren't labeled were the neutrals, which according to the manual don't matter which neutral terminal you connect them to (makes sense). Also, there was no place to connect the old external LED, so I just wrapped the wires around so they didn't short out anything. After all the wires were rewired, I installed a new circuit board. I had to temporarily remove the 24v transformer that was also installed in the switch box so I could mark and drill pilot holes on the back of the box. The new board was smaller than the old one, so there were no problems installing it. The only downside I encountered. To observe the diagnostics (LEDs) mounted on the board itself, you need to remove the covers and start the oven in this way. I liked the old remote control LED you could see from the top that only blinked a few times to indicate a problem. Starting the oven with the bottom plate removed creates a strong draft and you must hold down the safety switch. Not exactly a convenient way to troubleshoot. It would be nice to have a remote LED like on the old board. I would recommend as a replacement/upgrade for this oven model and expect other replacement models to be similar. The instructions are pretty detailed in case you're having trouble finding wires or just want to double-check everything before you hit the switch for the first time. Mine passed the smoke test and after about an hour I was hot again. Revain sent me this board overnight with a Saturday delivery which worked great.
