Review on Sony ICF CD543RM Kitchen Discontinued Manufacturer by Kimberly Brown

I have had this CD/clock radio for about a month now and I really like it. It was easy to install under my kitchen cabinet and the wood of the cabinet was thick enough that I could countersink the screws and fix the problem some people reported of the screw heads sticking out in the cabinet. It's easy to use and the clock and buttons easy to set up, although I don't need a remote - I'm almost always close enough to use the buttons on the radio itself. The only problem I have is that the VHF antenna is stuck in the power cord. and if i get too close i get static from it. I can't place the cable where I don't have to get too close, which I could if the antenna were separate - I don't know enough about HF to know if that's even possible.
