Review on 🖥️ LG 34WN80C-B 34-Inch UltraWide Monitor - 3440x1440P, Curved, Tilt/Height Adjustable, Enhanced Connectivity Compatibility by Chad Stull

I recently changed jobs and decided to switch to this UltraWide monitor from a dual monitor setup and overall I'm very happy with it. The panel has been good overall so far and looks really good paired with my MacBook which just plugged in and worked with the included USB-C cable. For the price, this monitor was great and has all the features I was looking for, notably USB-C connectivity with Power Delivery (charges a laptop at up to 60W, which was enough for my M1 MacBook Pro, and a hub/data transfer It's nice to be able to have a single cable without a dock (although that might not be enough to charge more power-hungry laptops. It's pretty slick with the included stand and supports the VESA mount, which I'll likely use in the future. The Screen itself is bright enough even with the backlight set to 50% and it's fairly smooth and almost "borderless" Colors look natural, resolution is sharp and looks great with macOS I've used/owned but none Replacement for external speakers for listening to music, at least for me. For general/office use they're fine. My only "nap" is that they don't & nd the screen is factory set to a matte film which I understand is designed to reduce glare and fingerprints. In theory this is a good idea and the monitor is easy to clean. However, when I first opened/switched it on, I saw a few tiny bubbles/defects around the edges that led me to believe it was a removable plastic sheet. it is not. Bubbles/smudges are almost invisible unless you examine the edges closely with the screen off. Aside from the very minor downsides of this built in film, I see benefits in reduced glare and ease of cleaning. In general, it would be good if there were no flaws at all. as it was pre-installed at the factory and cannot be removed without damaging the screen. All in all I think this is a good monitor for the price and I'm very happy with it.
