Replaced the drain plug in my van's fresh water tank with this for easier draining. No more fiddling with wrenches and getting wet. This is particularly useful when sanitizing a tank to avoid covering it with sanitizing liquid. Please note that they are NOT designed for the pressure side of your water supply, but for the tank or low point BEFORE the pump. The valve core has a friction fit and seals well at low pressure. At high pressure, it deforms, causing it to seize (difficult to turn) and leak. He has been with the camper all season and has used it several times to dump excess water before the trip; Runs smoothly, no leaks.
