Great price and easy to install

Bought this for our drinking water tank on our caravan. The old one was clogged (primer) and try as I might I couldn't get it to work properly again - then the old one broke. Local stores charged more for this item. I love that it fits either 1/2" or 3/4" so all I had to do was saw off the smaller end (so it wouldn't be too long for the grooves on my tank) and it took me until I did all had 2 minutes to install. Works perfectly!

Was a good fresh water solution for my Fleetwood (Coleman) trailer tent.

Was a good solution for the fresh water tank on my Fleetwood (Coleman) trailer tent. Instead of reaching for the tongs every time we pack, I can just turn on the faucet. Some reviewers point out that by design you can't turn the valve all the way to the tank. It's true, but you don't have to. In fact, it would actually open the valve. Closed at a 90 degree angle. Open directly.

Perfect for what my husband needed to fix on ours.

Perfect for what my husband needed to fix on our camper trailer. There were no leaks at all! It's easy to twist the spout to empty the tank! It was disappointing that it could only be purchased as an addition to the item and not separately. But I also have to order new fun things! I'm so glad it worked because we tried different options from local stores and nothing worked as well as this drain. I'm so happy I can keep going and not have to spend $300 on a new tank!

Perfect replacement for the drain plug

Replaced the drain plug in my van's fresh water tank with this for easier draining. No more fiddling with wrenches and getting wet. This is particularly useful when sanitizing a tank to avoid covering it with sanitizing liquid. Please note that they are NOT designed for the pressure side of your water supply, but for the tank or low point BEFORE the pump. The valve core has a friction fit and seals well at low pressure. At high pressure, it deforms, causing it to seize (difficult to turn) and…

Great replacement for the 2006 Keystone Outback 50 gallon tank!

This was the perfect replacement for the 50 gallon fresh water tank on my 2006 Keystone Outback 23KRS. The original rotted dry and began to leak. This one looks and fits just like the original. Had to cut 3/8" off as my tank needed a 1/2" piece. The threads are perfectly soldered, sealant is not required. For 1.5 months and 3 trips not a single leak! I opened it to drain the water from the tank and after that resealed it for the next refill with no leaks. If you need to cut off 3/8 inch, DO NOT

Great tank drain valve, don't try it on a pressure line

Pretty easy replacement that works great. For my setup it was as easy as unscrewing the old drain valve and screwing this one back on. No tape and don't overtighten. I also had to cut off a 3/8" bar as my tank had a 1/2" fitting. In doing so I first opened the valve all the way, then inserted a 3/8" thread into the rubber jaws of my vise. Be careful with this. Check before you turn it for the first time. Despite all the bad reviews about this product from the valve and doesn't come out of the…
