These are durable cups although I have not used them for hot drinks yet. firm slow compression proves they are indeed double walled. Two things I want to point out: 1) Stacks of these cups take up twice the space (height) of the 16 ounce Dixie brand cups that I used to buy regularly before they got too expensive. only six of these stacked jars fit on my shelf as opposed to 12 for the Dixie brand 2) The plastic sleeves that contain these jars are knotted at one end. it means they were tied up by someone's dirty hands. it shatters my hopes for the beautiful, pristine, mechanically sealed pouches and pristine, uncontaminated cups upon which I lay my precious mouth.
