Item finishes are not electroplated and appear to have been spray painted and were found defective on arrival. Shortly after installation, 1 day to be precise, the defective areas of the nuts began to rust, a very bright orange rust color. This rust now flows down the nut and makes the whole nut like that. I live in the Northeast and it's no secret that I need a real anti-rust coating. I have contacted xS Distributors LLC Customer Service. When I received the package there was nothing to identify them as the Veritek brand, if that is the real brand at all. They were damaged in shipping and were hand installed using a good quality hand ratchet and socket wrench. Unsatisfied. Edit I must have received a faulty batch. When we contacted the seller they replaced all the broken coated nuts, now we'll see in time. Great customer support not sure about durability given product quality
