I now have at least 5 different inexpensive headphones (I have a personal and a work phone set) and these are the best so far. This is a major improvement over the others, likely due to the larger 10mm speaker driver, which greatly improves bass performance. If you care about bass, you need a bigger speaker, period. There are a few other features I really like: * These headphones connect to my iPhone as soon as I open the lid of the case, not when I take them out of the case. Case. This ensures a smooth and quick transition, which is important if you're using them for phone calls (80% of use cases for me). C is becoming more and more common, maybe Micro-USB is finally dying. Android users may be more concerned about this than iPhone users.* The sound quality is incredible for cheap headphones. The microphone is also very good for voice calls, which is important to me. I wouldn't call it true noise canceling, but they seem to pick up less background noise than my other pairs. I couldn't even sweep the floor with a broom without someone complaining on the phone about the noise. This is not a problem. *They're pretty comfortable for in-ear headphones and seem to have a good weight balance so they don't pull on your ear while you're wearing them. * You are not white, which for me is a must. What am I? Some dumbass who pays more than $200 for Apple stuff?* I have little doubt about their ability to last 5 hours on a full charge because each earbud has a 40mAh battery. If they're like other headphones, they'll last longer for music (speaker only) than for calls (speaker and mic).* The body is fairly small, allowing them to fit discreetly in a pocket. Check out my chapstick photo for scale. I'll update this if anything changes, but for now I'm happy to call these headphones the best cheap headphones out there. For the price, they're almost disposable, but I hope I have them forever.
