Edit: I was so impressed that I ordered another set. The new RGB chords are much stronger. The changes to the controller are pretty lame, now it has cables on both ends making it difficult to route and attach outside the back of the case. In general, I am happy about these fans. First Review: Great, tough, durable fans at an amazing price. Subtle RGB is my favorite style and really gives your build a clean, sleek look. Connections are slightly loose, but not without reason. I would definitely buy them again (and probably will soon). Some things to watch out for: The rubber comes as a sticker that you have to stick on yourself (love this one, just adds another DIY task to PC assembly). The screws themselves screw into the plastic holes in the fan. It's a smart and easy way to design a mount, and there's just a risk of tearing the plastic off if you adjust and move the fans around a lot. There's a single button on the controller that allows you to cycle through a limited number of modes when you're not. Your motherboard does not have a 3-pin aRGB connector. My favorite modes are static rainbow, purple, and white. I don't think I'll ever use the others. The magnet on the controller is rather weak. In my case, I routed a daisy chain of RGB fans to the back of the case so I could access the controller without opening the case. That was too much for a full-size ATX tower. I connected the fan power in series to the motherboard fan connector and the speed is automatically controlled by MB. All in all very quiet, very nice fans at the best price. Double check that your motherboard has a 3-pin RGB address connector, otherwise your lighting options will be limited to those programmed into the controller.
