I like the way they look. They are beautiful in the setting of my farmhouse on the coast. I love the way they look so much I bought a few for my own beach house. In practice, however, they are simply sparse. Screws and bolts will loosen every few times and you can re-tighten them, but wood will chip and crack even without over-tightening. I've had to throw away a few of them and am thinking of restoring them by somehow adding my own wood to the frames because they are so beautiful I wish they had at least some durability. If you're just buying them to watch a production, they're perfect. However, it is not recommended to use them for more than a few uses, even for people of average height. I'm frustrated and have bought many of these hoping it's just coincidence, but throughout my inventory none is different than what I'm describing - that's the universal truth, alas. darn it! I've had many clients (and even brokers) try to buy them from me just because they look like it. until I ask them to sit on it first, after that they always change their minds. Manufacturers - please do better! You are so damn cute.
