I took it after 50mm f / 1.8G AF-S, because in many situations it was too narrow (I shoot on crop), I wanted to have a wider viewing angle. Well, I'mcomparing. Both of them are neat, miniature andcompact, I have nocomplaints about the build quality. Nothing backlash, no creaks, everything is fine. 35mm is even smaller. The lens hood, worn "in reverse", does not allow you to turn the focus on both lenses, you have to carry the lens hoods separately in your bag. About turning the focus wheel: At 50mm, the rotation is generally smoother, plus after going to the extreme position, it becomes more difficult to turn the wheel and you will definitely notice it. At 35mm, there is the same "nut" in the extreme position, i. E. you will feel that you have reached the extreme position, but at the same time the wheel spins with about the same ease. If you turn the wheel quickly, then the extreme position can be missed, which is excluded by 50mm. These are small things, ofcomurse. But 50mm doesn't limp that much, that's for sure. Here are examples of XA with 35mm (I didnβt try to specifically call them, I was already upset looking at the results of shooting in lightroom): 1) . Me/v608629672/4b49/jw2acVSz104.
