Review on 📀 Toshiba SD-2200 DVD Player: Superior Performance and Unmatched Entertainment by Tyler Fountas

I find this player very useful for the price I paid. Nice features include optical, digital, or 5.1-channel output, an easy-to-use interface, and a dual DVD/CD changer. The sound is crystal clear, making it the perfect companion for my Sony STR-DE835 receiver. All the extras are great except for the fact that the remote control is unreadable in the dark and the SD-2200 _NOT_ play CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RAM or other writable media. However, it will play all your regular CDs and will even decode the rarely used but listener-friendly HDCD or high-definition compatible digital formats, effectively doubling the sampling rate of CDs (from 44kHz to 88kHz) for an incredibly pure CD listening experience. Overall, this player is a good choice for DVD players under $400.
