i am glad i bought this. I kept complaining about not being able to use my laptop in the car, but then I remembered I could get a plug adapter and bought this. It's small, about the size of a purse, about 4-5 inches, and works great. I wish the cord was a bit longer so I could put it on the floor and not the seat or something, but you could put it in the cup holder depending on your car configuration, but when I got it, the leather seat came with me didn't notice any overheating or anything like that, but I had to check it more closely. I look forward to using this when I'm on the road and not worried about my computer dying, especially on car trips. Must buy. Especially if you are a busy digital worker. Update: July 22nd so as I was using this in a friend's car which is a truck and I just now noticed that unfortunately it doesn't work in my 2016 Volkswagen car. My car has a max power of 120w and the charger is 150w so unfortunately it doesn't work so I have to return it but other than when I've used it works great.
