Measurements: I wear 11.5 inches in almost every shoe. The 11.5 inches in this shoe is about 0.5 more than many reviewers thought. Order 5 sizes smaller, your best choice. Comfort is ok BUT not as good as Sketchers shoes of the same style. I love Sketchers but they don't have bow support for medium to high bows like me. This shoe has mediocre arch support, but that's what the arch inserts are for. I like the way they look a bit more than the Sketchers but if I had to choose between the two I would choose the Sketchers and the Sketchers are a lot cheaper. I think I'll return them and buy a second pair of Sketchers with their dense foam insoles which are way more comfortable than Merrell shoes.
