DEATH SHOES! Unlike other Merrell running shoes, the outsole on this shoe has no grip when wet. Last week after wearing them for the first time, I stepped from the wet sidewalk outside the mall to the sidewalk inside the mall. The shoes rolled off in no time and threw me onto the concrete. Measurements: I wear 11.5 inches in almost every shoe. The 11.5 inches in this shoe is about 0.5 more than many reviewers thought. Order 5 sizes smaller, your best choice. Comfort is ok BUT not as good as Sketchers shoes of the same style. I love Sketchers but they don't have bow support for medium to high bows like me. UPDATE (March 30, 2019): I just saw that the mesh around the heel was frayed exposing the white underneath. Probably others have not reported this, otherwise the mesh would not be used in areas where feet move and cause wear and tear. They are worn very little, just a few hours a day and two days a week, so that surprised me. UPDATE (3/30/2019): They still work like new. You are still comfortable.
