I completely wore out my previous pair of Merrell Encore Bypass. I ordered the same colour, black and the same size, 13 to replace my old worn pair. The shoes were ordered easily and received on time. Upon opening the packaging, my wife and I immediately noticed a strong rubber smell from the shoes. I tried them on and they must have been the wrong size or something. They were definitely not a size 13, more like a size 14. However, the rubber smell was very strong and my wife and I couldn't stand it being in our house so I returned them with a refund. I don't know what Merrell did to alter these shoes but they made a mistake, at least on the pair I received. I don't know if I'll order another pair or not.
