Works well as long as you point it directly at the receiver.
The remote worked right out of the box. No setup, just 2 AAA batteries. This remote works very well for the money, but is a little fuzzy when not pointed directly at the receiver and very close to the TV. It's also very light so I'm not sure it will hold up. At least now I can turn the TV on and off, control channels and volume.
