I have an old R-12 A/C sensor kit that no longer works with my new R-134a vehicles. I purchased FJC Inc. 6025 Quick Connect Manifold Conversion Kit totaling $29.65 to keep these sensors for use with my new cars. The high and low pressure fitting is easy to assemble and install. However, the R134a screw-on glass adapter does not fit the old fitting on the pressure gauge lines either in shape or form. I just had to go back and order a Mastercool 85510 R134a with valve and threaded fitting for an additional $7.79 plus shipping and handling. at $12.93, where I could save $5.14 in shipping and handling if I knew it was even needed. I guess I still don't know it works until it arrives and I can test it? PS: The Mastercool 85510 R134a Can Tap Valve Screw-On arrived today and it fits with the third adapter, fr in that order and the threads on the top of the R134a can are fine too. Make sure you don't throw away that third adapter as the original R12 faucet valve fitting will not fit the new screw on the R134a can without it.
