Review on ๐Ÿ”‘ Keyless2Go 4 Button Flip Car Key Fob Replacement | OHT01060512 Keyless Remote by Matthew Davenport

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to do for 2010 GMC Terrain

The remote came with no instructions, but from other posts on Revain I pretty much knew how to approach. Although I found a video on how to peel the buttons off a broken remote and replace them with a new one, I quickly tried to figure out that without the right hardware it was difficult. So I decided to see how to cut the key on a new device. The local locksmith said he didn't have the equipment and referred me to a mobile locksmith who specialized in these laser cutters and quoted me $65. So I went to my local GM dealer who made a $15 duplicate. Reprogramming my car is very easy: just start the car with the old key, switch off the ignition, plug in the new device, start the car and you're done. But on the internet while researching this I found out that some of them require reprogramming to be reprogrammed so I suggest you check this carefully for your specific car before ordering as reprogramming will be more can than you want. The quality of the device seems solid and I hope that in the future I won't have any issues that some others might find. I guess I won't, and I'll give this one five stars.
