Review on Monorail by Cory Mosley

Not the best tool for development but good for small applications

The best thing about monorail is that it's free, which also makes it the worst thing about monorail. It has a lot of problems with formatting text and code snippets. You will need to have some knowledge in visual studio because you'll be editing files by hand. I don't know why there are so many options out there for this tool but they're all lacking at least one key feature (monorails lack multi-project support). If you want something easy to setup then go with dot net core templates otherwise pick another solution. We use monorail for development purposes only so we do not require any specific features from it like the rest of these tools offer. I liked that it was very easy to use, with no difficult features or anything of this sort. We used monorails for our intranet app, so we didn't have any issues using them at all (which is great because they are super cheap!). Very simple concept, but if you want more functionalities then maybe consider other options as well! It's good software for small applications where there isn't much functionality needed from an application standpoint.
