I bought them because the ones I originally bought had bells. I use them at work in a booth and I felt the others were too loud and bothering my co-workers (no one ever said anything but I didn't want to bother them anyway). I use them to relieve stress for a few days and they only make a sound when they collide in my hand. It's not a loud noise, it's a click. They fit perfectly in my medium sized hands. I had a colleague who wanted to try them and she has small hands. She told me they were comfortable and wanted to know where I got them from, so I think that's good news for people with small hands.
