Review on Outdoor Research Rocky Mountain Gaiters by Robert Pearson

These gaiters have served me well in all conditions, from winter snow in Colorado to thickets in Alaska. In all situations, these leggings have proven to be comfortable to wear, offering maximum protection from prickly thistles, unforgiving snow and swampy conditions. These gaiters even kept my socks/boots dry after a 10 second shin dive in fast flowing glacial water. Worth the money spent. I have used these gaiters exclusively with 8 inch waterproof leather hiking boots and am not sure how they will perform with other boot styles or sizes.
