This product arrived well before recommendation, easy to install but left 1/2" clearance on the tapered shaft and castle nut. When screwed onto this shaft, the hole that was supposed to line up with the castellated nut gaps was completely over the nut. If the nut were to loosen it would cause the tapered shaft to vibrate instead of staying tight as the tapered shaft was designed. The space left on top of the tapered shaft was covered by the grease boot once I filled it with grease. I added a washer under the nut to match the cotter pin to the castle nut grooves as the design dictated and added extra torque to compensate for the added washer.
