Nothing is more annoying on a bike ride than finding out you need to inflate one of your tires, only to find that the hoses on this bike are the wrong type of gas station air hose fitting. Then they show up. Yes, the *process* remains tedious; You need to remove this adapter, unscrew the small nut to loosen the valve core, squeeze it a little to make sure it's not stuck, reinstall the adapter, inflate the tire, remove the adapter, *&^% nut again tighten, and then put the adapter back on to have next time. Would life be so much easier if the bike manufacturer only used wheels with Schrader valves? Right? But they didn't. So you need these. And with half a dozen, if someone runs off with one of you because they forgot to take one, you're out of luck yourself.
