Inexpensive way to add a headphone jack to your computer, but without a 1/4 " adapter
Yes, that's right. There are docking stations and even computers that have poor headphone output or no headphone jacks at all. I find the jacks themselves unreliable, you can't get a silent connection every time with most off-the-shelf (non-Bluetooth) headsets and portable audio speakers. CONI would have preferred to have a kit with a 1/4" adapter, so I didn't have to buy a separate device to cover the balanced 1/4" adapter, which is a professional audio standard.
