I also have a hair dryer, black, but very similar to this one, it's also a Revlon hair dryer and also 1875 watts and I use it all the time in the same outlet and it never blows out my power strip, but this one blows out in just a few minutes. It doesn't turn off the built in circuit protection like it should, but the entire strip turns off. It's annoying. I'm sticking with my old dryer even though it's very dry. I love color! In the end, the cord swivel turned out pretty good, although it doesn't look like a regular cord swivel. The cold start button works great. The settings are very easy to use and there is a hub that you can turn on or off depending on your preference. This is a very comfortable hair design and my very long hair doesn't get caught anywhere in it. I would love this hair dryer if I could leave it on for more than a few minutes. I suspect mine has poor protection on the plug. I've noticed that it never turns off even if it turns off the entire power strip.
