I would have liked classifying this controller as one of the best third party controllers you could purchase, as it contains the essentials on paper. However, sadly this is not the case; this controller is marred with various problems where i find quality control was the lowest priority and least concern. This was from my own purchase where i took the time to give it a fair opinion.I can't justify or recommend this controller to anyone, to be blunt. I'm not the only one with the issue reading reviews left by other, this controller possesses a mind of it's own. the share + L3 button will press by themselves, quite annoying and potentially fatal in the game you choose to play. hard resetting doesn't fix the issue which tells me this is a design flaw. this occurred on both controllers i have purchased, it's not a pleasant experience to have your share button activate leading to you accidently press the capture video option.I wouldn't use headphones on this. rather, it seems you can't. the sound quality isn't terrible, per say, it would be decent if it decided to remain connected while you used your headphones. the controller will disconnect within ten minutes leading you needing to reconnect with another controller in order to re-use the controller. this was a deal breaker in my case, i'd like to not be forced to use my usb port or go wireless, the stability is not quite there, without headphones it functions as normal, with headphones you might want to look elsewhere. this is a first for me, having owned several third party controllers, i've never experienced instability solely for connecting audio through the 3.5 port.the d-pad is okay, not great nor terrible, it is serviceable but it's quite mush in the middle, not much room for fluidity yet it's accurate enough where you won't be pressing double inputs on accident. i think where this shines are the analogs, very very accurate, i found no delay, little deadzone, smooth and responsive. this controller shines on the analogs alone, only two other third party controllers where able to rival the accuracy of this controller, i feel this one is the best out of all of them. if only the quality was identical to the analog. turbo functions fine, as would be expected, for some reason the back paddles malfunction where you are able to assign the button you wish, yet it behaves as if you were using the turbo option and the button it was assigned to.This is not a great controller, it's not comfortable in my hands and is only functional in the bare minimum. audio which freezes your controller, ghost presses which interrupt your gameplay, this needs to be revised for the next iteration. quality was not factored, for the asking price.
