Review on Calvin Klein Boys' Flat-Front Bi-Stretch Dress Pant, Straight Leg Fit, Hemmed Bottom, with Belt Loops and Functional Front Pockets by Carl Morgan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Regular pants with a straight cut at an affordable price.

Buyers seem to vary widely in their descriptions of this item; Perhaps the description could be more detailed. I have a pair of Calvin Klein men's trousers and they are narrower in the waist and hips than you would expect. The waist of men's trousers is quite high, so if you wear them lower or have a short torso, you need to go up one size. These pants have a wider waist than I expected (he's slim but at 5'7" and 130 pounds, jock). We had to hem them a bit, about 1 inch. Cropped, unfitting trousers - "classic" straight legs. They are not 'skinny' pants like some reviews say. I knew my son would like tighter legs but he wasn't too disappointed as this was his first suit. Calvin Klein Big Boys bi-stretch blazer for these pants is also a classic, standard so if your son is smaller in the waist and torso the jacket might look better if you make it 1/2 inch shorter on both sides (I bought his jacket elsewhere as we needed things in a hurry ).The "modern" cut is pretty standard, the material, a polyester mix, looks nice but if you're clever you can't mistake it for wool from afar.it's things like that. The shoulders of the blazer have a natural slope and almost 3/2 roll but don't taper towards the torso at all so the cut ends up being slightly square. If you're looking for a decent suit and don't want to pay more than $100 , are these pants together with a matching jacket a good buy. If you're looking for something that's in line with the latest trends for your son, you might want to try something different.
