I like the flexible neck kettle. The jug feels fragile although it can withstand everyday use. The pot is also very thin, so the coffee is only allowed to cool slightly during the brewing process. The casting base is annoyingly small. It works great in a pitcher, but to keep the temperature from dropping I like to brew right in my mug and the bottom of the pour over is about 1/8 inch smaller than in a full sized mug (Starbucks City glass). If you want to brew directly in a mug or in a cup, use small cups or find another brew.
