My old brown Darcy sofa was boring and difficult to clean. So I decided to try this sofa cover. See photos before and after. very satisfied. The case arrived quickly and in good condition. I immediately washed it (in cold water and not tumble dry as advertised). There was no lint, no wrinkles, no streaks of paint. The material stayed beautifully in a stylish dark gray hue. It's softer and much thicker than t-shirt material. I think it's suede, although I have to admit I don't know much about materials. It took me a good 40 minutes to slowly put it on without help. This can take less time if you have another person to help you move the bulky piece of furniture. The material nestles perfectly without furniture nubs. I've ordered some but they haven't arrived yet. They may be needed to fix the cover under the sofa. There is additional material on the back that needs to be hidden. Luckily, it doesn't move when we sit or lie down on the sofa, even without the help of pins. Worth a lot more than the $42 I paid. I've already had compliments from my troubled husband who thinks it looks better than the original sofa cover. Doesn't look like a shell. I am grateful to the seller and very satisfied! Definitely recommend! Update: After more than 15 washes, the smaller seat cover has lint. Must also be rough use. Although I can remove with an electric shaver. Just upside down.
