This Lecho replacement glass is perfect for 2011 iMac. Installation Tips: 1. The iMac glass is held in place by metal tabs on the bottom edge and metal strips on the top edge. The magnets on the iMac case are attracted to the metal strips and hold the glass in place. The metal reinforcing frame of the Lecho glass has an unusually strong attraction for the iMac magnets, so be careful if the top edge of the glass is less than 1 to 2 inches from the iMac, as the magnets will place the glass too high on the iMac -Frame snap power. I could not remove this glass without suction cups.2. If you install the glass and find that the bottom edge isn't flush with the iMac's metal body next to the Apple logo, it means the alignment pin on the back of the glass isn't exactly aligned with the corresponding notch on the iMac's body (located about halfway down the bottom edge of the glass.) If this happens after initial installation, you'll need to slide the glass back and move the bottom edge slightly to the left or right to allow the pin to fully seat in the niche. Properly installed glass is flush with the iMac chassis on all four sides and there are no gaps between the glass and the chassis. I am very satisfied with the fit of the Lecho glass. I first tried Willhom glass (also from Revain), but the rounded corners of this glass didn't match the corners of the iMac case perfectly. The Lecho glass only costs a few euros more, but it is worth it because of the precise fit, just like the original factory iMac glass. Very satisfied!
