I'm disappointed that I had to give this product one star because it really deserves zero stars. This is the worst product I have ever bought from Revain. Two of these were purchased in April 2015; one to give away, one for yourself. I use it to automatically turn off an old coffee maker. Critical as the coffee machine does not have an automatic switch-off function. In June 2017, I noticed that the Belkin auto-shutoff outlet was no longer working properly. On a 3 hour setting, it provided power for 6 hours. I took it off, examined it and found it wasn't damaged or wet. I cycled the switch through the available settings and plugged it back into the outlet. After several hours and numerous observations, it turned out that the installation was completely out of order and would only work with a 6 hour setting. Not trustworthy for a coffee maker. I bought the exact same Belkin timer in June 2017 and it broke right out of the box. It runs 30 minutes and 6 hours. When it's set to 3 hours (which is what I usually use) it sometimes works properly, sometimes it stays on for 6 hours or doesn't turn off at all. Completely unreliable and unacceptable in terms of safety. I am returning this item to Revain today as I believe it is dangerous. If you have it, my advice would be to never deselect it unless you depend on disabling something critical.
