💡 Efficient Energy Saving: Belkin 8-Outlet Conserve Switch Surge Protector with Remote Control, 4ft Cord – White Review

After 2 years mine caught fire. EXACTLY like other reviews. I figured these were just anomalies and my experience would be different. This switch was used once a week on my Jiffy J-2000 steamer (1300w, well under the 1800w rating). Didn't see the fire, but it happened while the device was off, which is weird and unsettling.

Thick, cable routing like a stripe at the end, old school design, there are some very old Belkin models out there, still the same, not good if you want to hide cables. (updated) A year and a half later it was discovered that heat damage had occurred. The plug almost melted into the thing. I use it a few times a day to heat water (680 watts for about 10 minutes).
