This is the type of doorstop I was looking for but I have two problems with it: 1. It doesn't sit very high above the door. Floor. The rubber bumper can be an inch off the ground. My pantry door is cut quite high, so I had to add a washer under the mounting plate to raise it a bit. 2. It is threaded to attach the mounting plate to the base and then screw the top cylinder to the base. The threads are not machined very precisely, so it is difficult to get started correctly and the likelihood of thread crossover is very high.
