STAND GOOD/CHEAP PLASTIC ACCESSORIES

At first I bought a Rikon stand from another seller but it is the same stand. Rikon brand, $25 off, free shipping. The stand itself is pretty solid. I have some concerns about rusting on the inner steel bushing and I suspect Rickon does too as they just shipped this thing soaked in oil. So if you keep this stand in your garage (yup) consider putting some wax paste or oil on it before assembling it. I wiped the oil off a bit and reapplied some rust preventative which I like to use on my cars. PLASTIC PARTS. they are garbage. Are thinning. Cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap! What the hell Rickon! Without the plastic "doll parts" I would give this stand a solid 4 stars, 5 if you had actually provided the useful instructions! The assembly instructions are just damn bad. I don't necessarily need grammatically correct English, but it would help if the person writing it really tries to follow what they're trying to say. Of course I understood that, but unfortunately my 8-year-old son slipped "WTF" to his mother the other day. No bueno with Mommacita! I put 3 inch rolls on the base. I used 3 swivel types, all with wheel locks. swiveling 3rd wheel. Or you could teach your own offspring some useful phrases they will need in life. I think the first thing to break is that cheap sprocket adjuster knob. I have no intention of using my superhuman Puff Reliable functionality. In general. Worthy purchase. Not thrilled with the pretty plastic look. plastic waste. But it will work. Don't pay too much and you will be happy.
