After 4 months of use, my monitor started turning off and on every few seconds. I can connect to the NVR through my computer and it doesn't change there, so that's the device. I've tried changing cables and gain but the video still disappears. Very disappointed. I have a number of CCTV cameras that are powered from the base unit so 8 camera views are displayed on the monitor. I wanted the unit itself to be in a place where bad guys couldn't easily get to it, so I used this extension cord to get the monitor's image up to my computer desk and a Category 5 cord through my bypass room to the device guided. I terminate my own cables and the cable is only about 50 feet long. Works great, easy setup. USB cables were included. My only downside is that I seem to have lost some color. Just not as good as a direct monitor connection. However good enough. I can redirect individual cameras and control the system from my desk. Worth the price.
