Review on Panasonic DVD S700P K Up Converting Region Player by Sean Moran

Let me start by saying that in the past I've avoided a lot of good music DVDs and DVD movies because they're PAL or other region and I didn't have a multi-region player. Well, last week I finally said enough about it and finally ordered one. I did a lot of research on Revain and found the "Panasonic DVD-S68" to be the best value HDMI connector for 1080p upconversion and a strong average 4 star rating from 52 reviews at the time. Didn't want to spend too much as I will only be using this on PAL/other region DVDs, my entire library is NTSC/Region 1 so my Sony DVP-NS700H player is there for that. So a week later I got my player, hooked it up, set up audio and video, tested 4 DVDs (PAL/Region 2, PAL/Region 4, NTSC/Region 2 and of course NTSC/Region 1. so AMAZING! The picture looks looks great on my "Toshiba 32AV502U" 32" widescreen TV with HDMI connection! The sound is amazing through my "Sony STR-DE835" Dolby Digital receiver as my TV is connected to the receiver with an optical cable! was worried when I bought it because I read all the negative reviews about it too but all of them were mainly due to not playing all American DVDs It's for PAL/other region DVDs Mine is brand new from VCT Electronics based on the Most reviews with a high average overall score There were other retailers with the same price and free shipping Revain Super Saver but not as many reviews or low prices n. Er rating compared to VCT Electronics. So there you have it for those looking for a multi-region player at a great price and an honest retailer to order from.
