This DVD player does NOT play all claimed regions and for that reason alone I am only giving it one star. It doesn't even play many of our US region 1 discs. To be clear, most of our DVDs are region 1 or 2 (US or Europe) and they are all legitimate store bought DVDs in mint condition so they should function; but this player has no rhyme or reason which he will actually play.
