Review on Panasonic DVD S700P K Up Converting Region Player by Darius Newberry

Great, no frills, no zones (there are cheaper ones without this mod) DVD player. It remembers exactly where you were surfing when you turned the car off and has a thumb connector (which I'll probably never use) on the front and only connects via RCA composite jacks (red, white, yellow). I bought this unit as an add on to an existing VHS/DVD with a tuner that is too expensive to replace if the DVD player fails because I use the DVD player 99.9% of the time , so if the DVD function fails, it's MUCH cheaper to replace than the larger $400.00 multiblock. Oh yeah I almost forgot, the remote control is very small but what struck me is that it doesn't fast forward a frame and when you actually find the little arrows it just moves forward in several frame steps or backwards . I've been using this DVD player for two years now with no problems.
