I installed this with the hole facing the window. There seems to be a debate about how to look at the discovery. I wanted to keep rain and dirt out of the vent and it seems to have worked. As with all items using 3Mβ’ Tape, you must clean the surface you are sticking to with rubbing alcohol prior to installation.
