OMG THIS IS AWESOME. Ok I was skeptical but I gave it a try because the reviews were pretty good. No one seemed seriously disappointed with anything other than size. I personally think the size is necessary, not the space pig. I have it on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator door and everything is fine with it. Most fridges probably have adjustable shelves; So if it doesn't fit initially, it probably can with a few tweaks. In terms of performance, I have no complaints. I'm actually shocked at how fresh my herbs (mostly cilantro) look. My cilantro stays consistently fresh for about 14-17 days without staining or turning yellow. i am so impressed I keep pulling it out and cutting off chunks of it and every time the veggies look fresh from the supermarket. The bottom line is, if you cook with herbs like rosemary, dill, cilantro, or even scallions and asparagus, this product will extend its life and keep it fresh. I have found a permanent fixture for my kitchen and am very happy with this purchase.
