I am 8 months pregnant and need non slip socks for our wooden floors. Socks are not too fluffy. I've had previous pairs with two layers, but this is only one layer. They keep your feet warm without overheating. I wore a pair with my ugg boots the other day and didn't break a sweat. They're comfortable, but maybe not the super warm, fluffy socks you're looking for. Sometimes I also feel support under my feet because they are not double-layered. I wouldn't take them to Canada, but they'll do for Louisiana.
