I installed this at the end of a partition, it was easy to install (I chose hardware install and then command bars to prevent that it moves) and while it's not my cat's favorite scratching post, he definitely uses it and I love that I can adjust the height so it stretches out nicely. My cat is big so I don't think I trust the command strips alone, but the single point of hardware seems very solid. particularly beautiful view. This is the barend wood for the posts and later the battens. I will be using fabric to cover it but it would be nice if they remembered to make the scraper look a bit more finished from the side/top.
